David Buxbaum David Buxbaum, Founder of Buxbaum Group, is currently Chairman Emeritus of the company. Mr. Buxbaum has been involved in retailing for more than 50 years. He has held key executive positions with regional and national chains in the apparel, footwear, drug and health food segments before moving into the liquidation business in 1974 as the founder of Buxbaum & Associates. After expanding his business from a contract liquidation and marketing promotion firm for distressed retail companies, he added a minority partner in 1984 and changed the name of the firm to Buxbaum Ginsberg & Associates. Mr. Buxbaum has been credited with many industry innovations such as inventory augmentation and providing appraisal services to the asset-based lending community. |
