M.J. CHRISTENSEN PLANS TO REOPEN GALLERIA MALL STORE
UNDER NEW NAME WITH MERCHANDISE TARGETING CENTER’S CURRENT CLIENTELE
LAS VEGAS (5/6/09) –Venerable Las Vegas-area jeweler M.J. Christensen
(http://www.mjchristensen.com) today announced that it plans to reopen its
Galleria Mall location in Henderson under a new name that will offer product
lines better directed towards the regional shopping center’s current
clientele.
The conversion to the new LaReverie concept at Galleria will begin
immediately following the completion of a special eight-week store closing
and consolidation sale now underway at all four of the nationally known
retailer’s metro Las Vegas stores. M.J. Christensen plans to continue
operating under its namesake, upscale brand at its three freestanding
locations at Boca Park and Montecito Marketplace, both in Las Vegas, and at
Eastern & Coronado in Henderson—maintaining the standards which enabled the
company to be among the 5% of U.S. jewelry stores to gain entry into the
prestigious American Gem Society.
Elaborating on the new concept that will be introduced at Galleria Mall, M.J.
Christensen president and CEO Cliff Miller said: “LaReverie will bring
together exciting international designer brands focusing on price points
primarily between $300 and $2,500, and have strong self-purchase appeal for
the fashion conscious woman.” The store is expected to open around July
2009.
As announced last week, the consolidation sale at all four locations offers
discounts of up to 70%-off on thousands of items, including fine watches and
an array of bridal and fashion pieces. The inventory is valued at more than
$10 million at retail, with price points ranging from $25 to $250,000.
Sale hours at the Galleria Mall location are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday
through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Sale hours are 10 a.m. to
7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the
Henderson location, which is at 10400 S. Eastern Ave.; and the Boca Park
location, 8980 W. Charleston Blvd. Sale hours at the Montecito Marketplace
location are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. See the M.J.
Christensen web site at http://www.mjchristensen.com/locations.php for
complete details and directions.
All standard forms of payment accepted. For further information on the sale,
